Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy operates by distributing congested energy from an area and increasing blood flow to the area allowing healing. Some uses are for chronic pain, inflammation and acute injuries. Studies have shown that lasers reenergize injured cell membranes to allow transport of essential nutrients, thus allowing a healthy new cell to grow. When injury or disease occurs, the injured cells loose the electrical potential of the cell membrane as well as the ability for the mitochondria of the nucleus to produce energy (ATP). MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Imagery) demonstrate this loss of energy. Pain occurs when cells are disrupted, malfunctioning or otherwise injured. Healing and pain relief come only after cells begin to "normalize". Photons (emitted by low level lasers) enable injured cells to normalize by stimulating them to initiate bio-chemical reactionsthat produce enzymes and ATP. This produces a "cascading" effect in which the adjacent cells are stimulated by the new enzymes to produce more of the same bio-chemical reaction, normalizing damaged cells and relieving pain.

How do Low Level Lasers Work?

Low Level Laser Therapy offers many benefits:

  • Reduces Pain causing the body to produce their own endorphins.

  • Reduces Inflammation by suppressing inflammatory enzymes that create swelling, redness, pain and heat, and enhances the release of anti-inflammatory enzymes.

  • Stimulates Lymphatic Drainage which increases circulation and speeds the healing process.

  • Stimulates the Healing Process by increasing the release of helpful healing enzymes by 75%.

  • Releases Tight Muscles both (smooth and striated) that create chronic pain, joint problems, and decreased mobility.

  • Speeds Bone Repair by stimulating fibroblastic and osteoblastic proliferation.

  • Antiviral, Antifungal, and Anti-herpetic when used in the correct frequency.

  • Cleanses the Blood
